
ZEMPRELLI MARGARET A. Age 87, of Jefferson Hills and Jupiter, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. A well- known model in the late 1940s, the former Margie Antoinette was Miss Major League Baseball for 1947, as well as the spokesmodel for the Pennsylvania Telephone Company and Rinso Detergent. Born November 16, 1926, in Little McConnells Mill in Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Stefan and Theresa (Araigno) Antoinetta, and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Albenia Adamski, Theresa Friday, Helen Rodgers, and Emil, Pete, and George Antoinette. Marge was a parishioner of St. Thomas A'Becket Church in Jefferson Hills, a member of the ISDA, and an honorary graduate of Penn State University. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, former State Senate Majority and Minority Leader, Edward P. Zemprelli; her daughter, Carla Z. Corum; her granddaughters, Dana Macauley and Jayne McVay; her great-granddaughters, Sophia, Layla, Adrianna, and Sierra; her sister, Edith Bernard; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, July 28, 2014, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas A'Becket Church in Jefferson Hills.
