PRESUTTI DOROTHY C. DORIS On November 8, 2015, at 92 years, Doris Presutti, of Kennedy Township, PA, passed away peacefully, to be with late husband, Alfred Presutti, married 45 years. She is survived by her children, Christine Cook (Tom), Michael Presutti (Beth); grandchildren, David Cook, Joshua Presutti, Tyler Presutti; and great- grandchild, Michael Cook. She has surviving sisters, Adeline Butterini, Grace Kocjan, and Margaret Hanna. Doris, in early years, worked as a supervisor at Williamson Company in McKees Rocks, PA, attended Duff's Iron City College. She was an active member of her beloved parish, St. Malachy Church, up until her passing. She organized the Italian festival booth for many years, served as Eucharistic Minister, established the Widow Indeed Organization, was a member of Christian mothers, the church choir, spent countless hours at St. Malachy's volunteering with prayer meetings, decorating the church at religious holidays, CCD teacher, and was a devoted Special Education Instructor for special needs adults and children. Doris had many hobbies, painting, traveled to Alaska, Europe, and was honored to make a pilgrimage with the St. Malachy Choir to sing at St. Peter's Basilica to perform for Pope John Paul II, in Rome. She was an avid gardener, belonged to the Kennedy Twp. Garden Club, and was an enthusiastic Pgh. Steelers fan. Family and friends received at the ANTHONY M. He was a 1961 graduate of McKeesport High School, a 1965 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a 1968 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with his Juris Doctor, former McKeesport Area School District Board Member, served as a Solicitor for Allegheny County, member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, member of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity (Pennsylvania Omega Kappa Chapter), member of Gemilas Chesed Congregation in White Oak, longtime member of the former Duquesne Golf Club, now known as Westwood Golf Club. He had a quick, dry sense of humor. He could finish a crossword puzzle in pen. WEAVER FRANCES JEAN Of Upper St. Clair, died peacefully on November 1, 2015, at the age of 90, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Born and raised in Brentwood and graduated from Brentwood High School, Dr. Weaver received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Penn State University. She worked for many years as a nutritionist in Massachusetts and New York State and abroad in Malawi, and taught at the University of Pittsburgh. She finished her career well into her 70s with the Peace Corps in Senegal. Deeply committed to social justice, and to women's rights through the National Organization of Women, she was also active with the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation and the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick J. and Vera (Kovar) Weaver; her siblings, Anne (Weaver) Booske, Frederick J. Weaver, Jr., and William T. Weaver; and brother-in-law, Henry Booske. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Rose Weaver of Glenshaw; and by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews and their children. Cherished son of the late Francis and Martha Milton; beloved husband of 45 years to Barbara; devoted father of Martha Marty Sklavos (Peter); proud and adoring grandfather to Nia and Evan; more of a brother than a brother-in-law to Nicholas and Theodora Nicholas; loving uncle to Christos (Maria), Andreas (Staci), Alexander and Eva (Adam Arabian) Nicholas; and several great-nieces and nephews; dear cousin to Debby Bass (Gordon). In addition, Gene enjoyed nurturing many rich and fulfilling friendships and was known for his gregarious personality, zest for life, love of nature, keen mechanical skills and insightful problem solving. A graduate of Baldwin High School and the University of Pittsburgh, he began his career in Advanced Systems at United States Steel and then operated and owned Custom Car Wash and Equipment Company. He transitioned into Financial and Estate Planning for the last dozen years, serving his clients with competence, heart and enthusiasm. As a recreational pilot Gene volunteered with the Wings for Children and Volunteer Pilot Association programs, transporting organs for transplant as well as children with serious medical conditions. Gene also had a special place in his heart for Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church and its parishioners. He was a dedicated member and served in a variety of capacities over the years.
