(Robert) Dougher and William P. (Karla); grandfather of Danielle, Nicole, Andrew, Meaghan and Caitlin; great-grandfather of Andrew; brother of the late Leo Donald (survived by Terry) Fortwangler; brother-in-law of Helen (Chuck) Gidel and Tillie (Bill) Crouse. STULL JOHN H. “JACK” John H. Stull, age 100, of Oakmont, formerly of Forest Hills and Wilkinsburg, on August 4, 2015. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Spence), of 65 wonderful years. Surviving are his son, Robert (Jan) of San Marino, CA; and daughter, Jeanne (John) Hackworth of Oakmont; Jack was blessed with six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored. Jack was an active 84 year member of South Avenue United Methodist Church. Private burial will be in Homewood Cemetery. Beloved husband of Barbara (Danko) Hertel; loving father of Scott (Donna) Hertel, Georgina (Robert) White, Matthew (the late Christine) Hertel, Keith (Jody) Greene, Warren Baker, and the late Mark Hertel; father-in-law of Eileen Hertel; also survived by nine grandchildren, Robin (Robert) McBrayer, Andrew, Meghan, Markie, Emma and Ethan Hertel, Brenna (John) Griffith, Robert White, Paul Hendrickson; and by three great-grandchildren, Taylor Garner, Morgan Jacobs, Haisley Kelley; cousin of Kathy (Hugh) Hughes; son of the late Mabel and Philip Hertel; brother of the late Jean Skrak. David was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a 50 year mason with the Blue Lodge and retired from USF&G insurance company after 39 years as a commercial lines underwriting manager. He was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan, enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and attending morning meetings with all his dear friends of Bill W. for the past 32 years. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and other health professionals at St. Barnabas nursing home who cared so lovingly for him. Herky was a US Army Air Corps WWII veteran who had received the Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon and the Distinguished Unit Badge for his service. He also worked at Sears Allegheny Center for over 30 years and was a member of the Beadling Club where he was an avid card player for many years. There will be no visitation. Born in Pittsburgh PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Thelma Matthews. Loving mother of Allan (Margo) Reece of Gainesville, FL and Dale (Carol) Reece of Pittsburgh, PA; cherished grandmother of Erin Reece and Neil (Eileen) Reece; also survived by her sister. Evelyn was an enthusiastic author in children's magazines, a recognized ceramist, photographer, artist, and actress who enjoyed sharing her interests with young people. CARR VIRGINIA E. “GINNA” Completed her earthly journey on August 1, 2015. She was born on February 5, 1925, in Allentown, PA. Ginna was the daughter of Thomas O. Schrader and Eleanor F. Heffner. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Leonard W. Carr in 2001. Ginna was a devoted mother to her daughters, Donna L. (Roy) Fuerherm and Susan E. Carr. She was a loving grandmother to Melissa S. Dean and Ian J. Paisley; and the proud great-grandmother to Ella B. Dean (10). She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn F. Krudewig; and was a loving aunt to two nieces; and six nephews. She was a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in Arts and Science. She lived in Pittsburgh, PA for most of her life until she and Len moved to Gold Canyon, AZ in 1997. She lived a very independent life and was very active in social activities with her many friends at Mountain Brook. She especially enjoyed going to movies, eating out, and playing card games with her friends and family. We would like to acknowledge the loving care given to our mother by the staff at Brookdale in Apache Junction. We also appreciate the compassionate care given to her and her family by Quality Care Hospice. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Burrito was a happy, selfless little boy who brought smiles and happiness to everyone around him. He was loved and adored by so many and will be missed. He was born on September 4, 2013, in Pittsburgh, a son of Paul E. and Laura E. Rosenberger Gillum. They were blessed to be the parents of an angel. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his maternal grandmother, Barbara E. Rosenberger of Canonsburg; paternal grandfather, Paul E. Gillum of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul M. Curtis was also the owner and operator of Maxwell Painting. Curtis was a lover of music and an avid pool player, however his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family and friends. STETZER DALE WILLIAM Age 69, of Sewickley, PA, died suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2015. His humor and quick wit were his trademarks and his creativity, optimism, and fearless spirit were his legacy. He was deeply and utterly loved by and devoted to his family. Dale grew up in Pittsburgh and was a proud graduate of The Catholic University of America. He spent most of his career as president of the Business Events division of the global public relations firm, Hill & Knowlton. He believed in the power of collaboration and was renowned for bringing together and leading diverse, creative individuals with varying areas of expertise in the creation of award-winning programs, presentations, conferences and events. This passion led him to establish his own business events firm, BizEvents, where he continued his successful run as Strategic Creative Producer and where he and colleagues he valued as lifelong friends produced brilliant work for companies that included GE Capital, DuPont, IBM and P&G to name a few. Most recently, Dale worked with EKT Interactive as an instructional designer and production manager in the oil and gas industry. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rita Stetzer. Dale is survived by his wife, Dianne; and children, Aaron Stetzer, Noah Stetzer, Jordan (Frank) Tetlow, Logan (Kate) Stetzer, Claire Stetzer and Brenan Stetzer; his grandchildren, Egan, Madeline and Frances Tetlow; along with his brothers and sisters, Marty (Kathy) Stetzer, David Stetzer, Jay (Maura) Stetzer, Mary Rita (Mike) Gallaher, Bill (Lisa) Stetzer, Cathy (Michael) Shea, Carol Dyke, Judy (John) Sturgeon, and Rick (Laurie Ann) Stetzer. Dale's body will be donated to medical research in accordance with his wishes. A Gathering will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at ST. Helen began her work career as a secretary at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh where she worked for ten years. After raising her children, she became a cashier at Shop and Save in Forest Hills and later at Foodland (now Kuhn's) on Beulah Road in Churchill.
