STETZER DALE WILLIAM Age 69, of Sewickley, PA, died suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2015. His humor and quick wit were his trademarks and his creativity, optimism, and fearless spirit were his legacy. He was deeply and utterly loved by and devoted to his family. Dale grew up in Pittsburgh and was a proud graduate of The Catholic University of America. He spent most of his career as president of the Business Events division of the global public relations firm, Hill & Knowlton. He believed in the power of collaboration and was renowned for bringing together and leading diverse, creative individuals with varying areas of expertise in the creation of award-winning programs, presentations, conferences and events. This passion led him to establish his own business events firm, BizEvents, where he continued his successful run as Strategic Creative Producer and where he and colleagues he valued as lifelong friends produced brilliant work for companies that included GE Capital, DuPont, IBM and P&G to name a few. Most recently, Dale worked with EKT Interactive as an instructional designer and production manager in the oil and gas industry. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rita Stetzer. Dale is survived by his wife, Dianne; and children, Aaron Stetzer, Noah Stetzer, Jordan (Frank) Tetlow, Logan (Kate) Stetzer, Claire Stetzer and Brenan Stetzer; his grandchildren, Egan, Madeline and Frances Tetlow; along with his brothers and sisters, Marty (Kathy) Stetzer, David Stetzer, Jay (Maura) Stetzer, Mary Rita (Mike) Gallaher, Bill (Lisa) Stetzer, Cathy (Michael) Shea, Carol Dyke, Judy (John) Sturgeon, and Rick (Laurie Ann) Stetzer. Dale's body will be donated to medical research in accordance with his wishes. A Gathering will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH in Sewickley, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following, friends and family are invited to celebrate Dale's life at an 11:30 a.m. reception at the Edgeworth Club, 511 East Drive, Sewickley, PA. Dale's work for the National Park Foundation's Flight 93 Memorial held special meaning to him.
