BIASUCCI MARY (DePAOLO) DePAUL Of Murrysville (formerly of Yukon) was committed to loving memory on April 25, 2015. She was born December 27, 1919 in Crabtree, a daughter of the late James and Florence DeBone DePaolo. Mary was formerly employed by the Victory Glass Works in Jeannette. She was a member of the Seven Dolors Parish, Yukon and a member of the Christian Mothers Association. Mary was resilient, proud, strong-willed, resourceful principled, and spiritual. An enthusiastic worker, she was absolutely dedicated to her husband and children. She loved to watch sports and could shoot a basketball well into her eighth decade of life. She maintained a spotless home and was a marvelous cook and baker. Her children and grandchildren always looked forward to special occasions, when she made her exceptional ravioli, chicken, pizzelles and rolls. She extended her hospitality to all who entered her home and immediately (and repeatedly) offered them food and drink. She was never afraid to accept a challenge and earned her driver's license at the age of 66. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Peter Angelo Biasucci. She was the last surviving of seven children, including her twin brother, Lewis DePaul, along with Joseph DePaolo, Michael and John DePaul; her sisters, Carmella Chick and Rose Costello. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Perricelli and her husband, Anthony, daughter, Gail Blessing and her husband, Gerald, of Plano, Texas; and son, Peter Biasucci, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Carlisle, PA. Mary was the devoted grandmother of Scott Perricelli and his wife, Susan, Brett Perricelli and his wife, Julie, Cara Perricelli Zahn and husband, Thomas, Meghan and Mollie Blessing, Leta Biasucci, Maureen Smith and her husband Ryan, Kate LoVerdi and her husband, Jason. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Nicholas, Julia and Christopher Perricelli, Sophia Perricelli, Thomas and Olivia Zahn and Jack and Henry Smith. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Friends received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the HART FUNERAL HOME, INC., Murrysville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mother of Sorrow R.C. Church. During her last years of a celebrated life, she was under the loving, compassionate and attentive care of the friends and staff at Redstone Highlands in Murrysville, PA. HARDICK JO ANNE Of North Versailles, died peacefully, Saturday, April 25, 2015. Born in Punxsutawney June 18, 1932, Jo Anne was the daughter of the late Andrew and Charlotte Dean McGregor Hardick. She was preceded in death by a brother, James. She is survived by her best friend, Mary Lou "Cookie" Whitezell of North Versailles; a niece, Susan Young of Clarion; her pups; and loving friends and family. Jo Anne gradutated from Punxsutawney High School, received a Bachelor's in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1954 and Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the teaching staff of Wilkinsburg School District in 1954, becoming supervisor of special education, a position she created, for 15 years. A fearless advocate for her students and teachers, she enjoyed the lifelong admiration and friendship of both. Jo Anne mentored many teachers who knew they had met her exacting measure when she bestowed an "Attaboy" on them. After retiring, she had a new career in antiques, doing shows at area malls, as well as dealing through several stores. She was a member of South Avenue United Methodist Church. Liverpool, Ohio on May 9, 1943, to the late Faye (Combs) and Robert A. Inches, Sr. Husband of Janet (Isaac); father of Darla Averman (Gary Vargo) of Chagrin Falls, OH, Bill Inches and Dan Inches both of Hopewell and the late Robert “Scott” Inches; stepfather of John Gable of Hopewell; cherished grandfather of Emily and Jack Averman, Shane, Trystyn and Dakota Inches and Michael Gable; brother of Ronald Inches (Brenda) of Burgettstown and Randy Inches (the late Judy Blanchard) of Moon Township; former spouse of Constance (Maratta) Finn of Aliquippa. Bob was a 1961 graduate of Hopewell High School. Bob was a self-employed contractor with previous businesses of Yards by Inches and Bob's Blacktop. HAY JUSTIN JOHN Died January 28, 2015. He was born July 11, 1972, the son of Arnold G. Hay, Jr. and the late Mary Rose (Mihoch) Hay, of Pleasant Hills. He is survived by his father and his sister, Krista Hay. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and West Virginia University. He was an author, computer programmer, chess enthusiast, skateboarder, thinker, and voracious reader. All his endeavors were informed by his keen interest in understanding complex systems. Justin was creative, intellectual, inquisitive, shrewd, opinionated, competitive, athletic, loyal, mystical, and devout. His wry sense of humor, his chuckle and his crooked smile amused and intrigued all who knew him. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 1, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Norbert Church, Overbrook, Rev. Thomas J. Burke, celebrant. Family and friends also will gather at a later date to celebrate Justin's birthday. RODGER PATRICK J. “PAT” On April 27, 2015, age 99, of West Mifflin. Patrick was born in Kilbirnie Ayrshire, Scotland, the son of the late Robert and Rebecca (Ross) Rodger. Pat was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps, a retired bus driver for Bamford Bus Co. and Port. Authority, he was an active member of Resurrection Church where he served as an usher, and avid bowler in a league until he was 94 years old, but most important, Pat was amazingly generous with his time and had a candid ability to go out and help people. Beloved husband of the late Camille (DeLoche) Rodger; cherished father of Linda (Harry) Cerutti of Murrysville, and Richard (Linda) Rodger of South Carolina; loving grandfather of Laurie (Larry) Kunzelman, Susan Rodger, and Annie and Chris Cerutti; special great- grandfather of Noah and Gracie Kunzelman. YOCHUM THOMAS WILLIAM Age 89, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. Yochum was a native of Pittsburgh and a lifelong resident of Brentwood. He was a graduate of Brentwood High School and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he worked as a data processor at Mesta Machine Company for 34 years. After retirement, he began to create pen and ink drawings. Over the past 25 years, he has memorialized over 200 homes and historical landmarks in Western Pennsylvania. In addition to his artwork, he was an avid gardener and accomplished golfer. Tom was a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan, but his favorite team by far was the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Theresa M. Yochum; his son, Kim Yochum of South Africa; his daughters, Jacqueline Saracco (Dr. Gregory) of Carrollton, VA, and Lisa Whitesitt (John) of Henderson, NV; seven grandchildren, Angelique Yochum, Erin Klein (Jeffrey), Anne Thalman (Matthew), Rebecca DeVincent (Shane), Ryan Whitesitt, Sean Whitesitt, Emily Saracco; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Maggie Klein. HOWELL MICHAEL J. Age 67, of Tamarac, Florida, formerly of North Huntingdon, on Thurs., April 23, 2015, in Florida. He was born Oct. 25, 1947, in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late George E., Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Sullivan) Howell. A retirement Construction Manager for Hovnanian of Florida. Mike also was at one time the owner of Howell Contracting of North Huntingdon. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves. Mike was a member of the LOOM 236 of Irwin and the LOOM of Tamarac, FL and the Manor American Legion and the Margate Legion in Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Howell; his dear companion, Judy Husbands Laursen.
