Regis was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He was also a historian who could never drive past a civil war battlefield without stopping. LEONARD ROLLY Age 88, passed away peacefully in his home October 15, 2019, after a brief illness and surrounded by family and friends. He had just celebrated his 55th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Rosanne Rolly aboard a New England cruise. Len lived an abundant life full of friends, family, laughter and theatre. A Navy veteran and graduate of Carnegie Tech, Len went on to receive degrees in electrical engineering and literature, claiming he was the oldest undergraduate there. A gifted tenor and actor he was known as the face of St. Barnabas Hospital on local television and appeared in numerous commercials as well as performing with the Butler Symphony Choir. Loving to be on stage, he appeared in numerous shows at CLO, Robert Morris, but his theatre home was Comtra Theatre where lifelong friends were made. His greatest highlight arrived when he was honored to play the role of Don Quixote. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Rolly; his four elder sisters and a brother. But his greatest loss from which he never recovered was the sudden death of his precious son, Shaun, in 2017. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Rosanne; his son, Kevin of Los Angeles; his brother-in-law, Kenneth Chenot; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Born Feb. 28, 1933 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Louise (Volpe) Macioce-Mancini. She was an owner and proprietor, along with her late husband, of DeRubeis Bar and Grille in Clairton, a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, the Sons of Columbus of America, Regina- Della Valle, Council No. 40 where she was president for 34 years, and a volunteer at McKeesport Hospital. She was very active with church functions, the St. Paulinus Church Bazaar, and Clairton Fireman's Fair. She was also an honorary graduate of the Clairton High School Class of 2019. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her late husband of 25 years John B. DeRubeis, who passed away on July 7, 1975. Mary is survived by her children Madeline L. (Ron) Kelley of White Oak, Fred P. (Debbie) DeRubeis of Elizabeth, James D. (Nasreen) DeRubeis of Greensburg, and Thomas A. (Mary C.) JOAN GOLOMB SIEGEL Joan Golomb Siegel died on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Sarasota, FL. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 13, 1933, to the late Dr. Milton and Julia Katz Golomb. She was the wife of the late Edmund H. Siegel and mother of the late Jonathan L. Simon. She was predeceased by her former husband David I. Simon. She attended Chatham College for Women and took courses at University of Pittsburgh and Harvard University. She taught piano in Pittsburgh for many years and was an accompanist and lyricist in the various cities where she lived. She had been an antiques dealer, a realtor, and a longtime volunteer teacher of English as a second language. She was an avid reader, traveler, writer, bridge player, and lover of the Arts. She was an enthusiastic cook, hostess, antique collector and decorator. She was infamous for moving and redecorating more than 17 houses. She was well-loved and devoted to her large extended family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Simon Clark (Andrew); son, James N. Simon (Paula); stepdaughter, Jan Siegel Binder (Steve); stepson, Neil Y. David was born April 18, 1940 in Springfield, OH to the late Claude C. and Louise Shultz Wetherill. David has been a resident of Naples for the past 12 years coming from Pittsburgh, PA. David graduated in 1958 from Springfield High School in Springfield, OH. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH, in 1962. He was an active member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and continued to be an enthusiastic alumni throughout his life. David began his career working for Union Central Life Insurance in Springfield. He moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 1969 to work for BABB, Inc. and then as a partner of Hallowell and Associates. David was closely involved with the Rotary organization and Indian Guides and Princesses, was an avid gardener, and loved to golf. For the past 12 years, he resided in Naples, FL where he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. David is survived by his wife, Mary Suzanne; his two daughters, Juliet Wetherill Smith (husband, Scott) and Karen Wetherill Wright (husband, Terence); two sons, David Wetherill, Jr and Richard Wetherill; six loving grandchildren, Nora, James, Luke, Byron, Trey and Sydney; his sister, Diane Wetherill Schools; husband, Arthur; and his niece and nephew, Amy and Jay. He lived his entire life with the love and support of his family in his heart. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at North Naples Church, 6000 Goodlette Road, Naples, FL with a reception immediately following at the Club at the Strand, 5840 Strand Blvd., Naples, FL.
