He was the loving husband for 61 happy years of Bernadette Bea Puskaric; the loving father of Gregory (Marlene) Puskaric and Connie M. Bedont; grandfather of Melanie (Rob) Vitous, Eric (Lauren) Bedont, Tommy (Hayley) Puskaric and Lynette (Logan) Puskaric; the G-Pa of five great-grandchildren, Gavin, Sloan, and Fiona Puskaric and Dylan and Trevor Bedont; and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred (Grasak) and George Puskaric; and sister, Joanne (Dewey) Olinski. He retired from US Steel and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, playing cards, and spending time with his family. Thomas will be deeply missed. MALTER DORIS JEANNE "DEE" (MOORE) Age 90, of O'Hara Twp., died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Beatrice J. (LeSage) Moore and the wife of the late William G. Malter. As a staunch champion of educating women, she was a dedicated Chemistry and Physics teacher at The Ellis School for 27 years as well as the head of the science department, overseeing the science curriculum for grades K-12. After retiring, she actively participated in furthering women's education through the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and their scholarship programs. She tirelessly volunteered for over twenty years for both Harmarville Rehabilitation and the Audubon Society of Western PA (ASWP) at the Beechwood facility. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, playing bridge and corresponding with friends and past students located all over the world. She will be missed by her brother, William Bud Moore (Mary Lou); her sister, Elinor Smith; her twin children, Jeffrey T. Malter and Jane L. O'Neill (Patrick); two grandchildren, Heather and Sean O'Neill; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Funeral services will be private. FISCHER RUTH (KRUG) Born in Chicago, IL, died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 peacefully at her home in Weinberg Terrace with family and loved ones by her side. Ruth was an accomplished cellist and much loved teacher of her instrument. She blessed those around her with her delightful sense of humor, keen intellect, and her positive spirit. Her capacity to lead a joyful life despite the great suffering she endured was profoundly moving and inspiring to those who knew her. Ruth and her husband Dick were founding members of the Ramblers walking group, which grew exponentially over the years since its inception. Her love of nature was reflected here as well as in the beautiful gardens she tended so lovingly, and the delight she took in cut flowers when she was no longer able to do so. The Fischer family quartet, composed of Ruth, her husband, Dick (violinist and violist), and her daughters Janice (cellist) and Linda (violinist) performed classical chamber music around the country and the world. Their home was always filled with music, whether it be family members practicing, visiting musician friends playing, or recorded music on the record player. She was predeceased by her husband and two daughters. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces, Jacqueline Fischer of Woodstock, VT, and Jill Fischer of Lebanon, NH, and her four great nephews and niece. Ball Dunham, who he married on November 25, 2014; a daughter, Terri Consevage (John) of Mechanicsburg; two sons, Jon Dunham (Monica) of Mars and Robert Dunham (Nancy) of Bellevue; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, David Dunham (Roseanne) in Florida; a sister, Judith Schulte (Joseph) of Cheswick, a stepdaughter, Katherine Morfenski (Stephen) of Oil City; and stepson, Alex Sparn of Slippery Rock. He was preceded in death by first wife, JoAnn A. C LaFace Dunham, who passed away on November 26, 2009. RAGOOWANSI TULSIDAS N., MD Age 85, a Beaver County physician specializing in internal medicine and cardiology, died peacefully on August 8, 2018, at Heritage Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Part of a vast family from Bombay, India, Dr. Ragoowansi was born in Thatta India, and earned his undergraduate degree from St. Xaviers College in 1957 and his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College/University of Mysore in 1963. He married his high school sweetheart Pramila in 1961 and immigrated to the United States in 1964. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology in New Jersey, and moved to Beaver County, joining a private medical practice before establishing his own in Beaver Falls. He also worked at New Brighton, Beaver Falls, and Rochester Hospitals, along with The Medical Center/ Heritage Valley, Beaver. Dr. Ragoowansi practiced medicine and served his community for over 50 years and was deeply respected for his care and compassion. Those who knew him would tell you his greatest passion was for his family, especially his son Ashvin, a local neurosurgeon, daughter Neeta, a New York attorney and music business executive, and his cherished grandchildren. Tulsidas will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 57 years, Pramila Ragoowansi, Beaver; son, Ashvin (Beth) Ragoowansi, M.D., Sewickley Heights; daughter, Neeta (Bob Bryan) Ragoowansi, Esq., Manhattan, NY; six grandchildren, Olivia, Evan, Kieran, Aidan, Ashton, and Ava; three brothers, Hira, Kakkan, and Goi Ragoowansi; one sister, Nathi; along with a large extended family, including many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
