Born on February 23, 1964, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Mary and John Schademan. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Schademan; loving father of Zachary Schademan, Gretchen Cochran (Curt) Schumann, Mitchell Cochran, and Randall Cochran; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Nolan, and Asher; dear brother of Richard (Deb) Schademan, Cheryl (Rick) DiClaudio, Bill (Sue) Schademan, and Jeffrey (Patricia) Schademan; brother-in-law of Linda (Richard) Blahut; also survived by many nieces and nephews. BERKELBAUGH (BERK) DIANA LOUISE (SIMONI) Of Mt. Lebanon ,PA, formerly of Grand Blanc, MI and Naples, FL. Age 73, peacefully surrounded by those who loved her and in the thoughts and prayers of many. The daughter of Matthew (Talo) Simoni and Teresa Simoni (Ricci). Diana was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 4, 1943. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School, where she met the love of her life and soul mate, Fred. Married on February 8, 1964, the couple was blessed with a life filled with wonderful family, friends, travel and love. Together they welcomed two daughters, Lisa Marie and Kristy Lynn. Artistic and creative, Diana enjoyed using her talents in interior design and painting. Diana led a life strong in faith, and was a proud wife, mother and grandmother. A silent philanthropist, she found joy in always helping others without need of notice or thanks. Organizations that helped children always held a special place in her heart. Diana believed that caring about others and loving one another was truly the most important part of life. Diana is survived by her true love and husband of 53 years, Fred; daughter, Lisa Marie Szukhent; grandchildren, Christopher Whetstone, Caitlynn Griffin, Morgan Monty, Nicholas Szukhent, Connor Szukhent and Alexa Szukhent; brother, Richard Simoni and wife Dee; brother-in-law, Patrick Berkelbaugh and wife Patti; sister-in- law, Bonne Bradburn and husband Jim, sister-in-law, Roseanne Ranft and husband Tony, sister-in-law, Melinda Berkelbaugh, sister-in-law, Joanna Huddleston and husband Harry; beloved nieces and nephews; and dear friends from coast to coast. MILLER TOM Age 80, of Pittsburgh, passed away at home on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was born and raised in Swisshelm Park to William and Dorothy (Maguire) Miller. Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, of 55 years, son, Thomas (Gabriella); his daughter, Julie (Jim) James; and his grandsons, Christopher, Andrew, Ethan, and Emmett. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Walter; his sister, Audrey; and sister-in-law, Gert Miller. He was a loving brother-in-law to Jane Miller, Mart Martinchich, Lois (Raymond) Hoff, May (Donald) Blough and Alyce Kampmeier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Tom attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He attended Stevens Institute of Technology and completed his MBA. He joined Westinghouse and retired from there after 33 years. He served as a scoutmaster of Troop 16 (Livingston, NJ) and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tom loved to play golf and watch sports, especially the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He liked to go camping and visit the shore, where you could always find him enjoying the waves. Tom was extremely loving and proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. McCAULLY BERNARD EDWARD Loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Bernie was born on September 3, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Cornelius and Madeline (Zetwo) McCaully. He served his country at the Marine Corp Air Station in Cherry Point, NC, during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to his job at Bell of Pennsylvania, retiring in 1985 as a Service Center Manager with more than 35 years of service. In retirement, Bernie enjoyed travel, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. Bern is survived by his wife and life partner of sixty-seven years, Kathryn; daughter, Eileen (Jim) Marshall, of Pittsburgh, PA, and two sons, Dan McCaully, of Dayton, TX and Tom (Kate) McCaully, of WinstonSalem, NC. He is also survived by a brother, John (Trudy) McCaully, of Pittsburgh, PA; seven grandchildren, Patrick (Rachael) McCaully, Lynn (Steve) Pickering, Madelyn McCaully (Bryan McCance), Chris (Jeff) Vayda, Neil (Linda) McCaully, Catherine and Mary Ann McCaully; and four great-grandchildren. IVORY ROSE H. (CAPIZZI) Age 96, of Zelienople, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Passavant Retirement Community for their tender loving care. Born June 17, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Matteo Capizzi and Eleonora Valentino Capizzi. Ro was a faithful member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople. She greatly enjoyed music and treasured her many nieces and nephews. She was known as the family historian and never missed birthdays and special dates by always acknowledging and keeping in touch with her family through cards and letters. Ro will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her perfect smile; she was our sunshine. Ro is survived by a stepson, Scott Ivory and family of Amherst, NY; a sister-in-law, Betty Capizzi of Colorado; thirty-four nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; extended family and many friends. In addition to her parents, Ro was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Ivory; four brothers, Anthony, Sam, Tom and Joe Capizzi; and three sisters, Mary Barranti, Josephine Capizzi and Lee Prisby. Having the rare genetic condition of anencephaly, his life has been celebrated by family and friends while he was waiting to be born. Son of Ryan and Heather McNamara; brother of Ellie and Abby; grandson to Dennis and Debra McNamara of North Strabane and Robert and Lorraine Strohmenger of West Long Branch, New Jersey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to CORE of Pittsburgh for helping to make organ donation a possibility to further the advancement of pediatric research. Additionally, the loving support of The Promise, a neonatal palliative care division of Catholic Hospice Pittsburgh. HILLER RALPH A. Age 92, died August 1, 2017, in Pittsburgh, PA. Born in West Dover, Ohio on June 7, 1925, Ralph was the middle son of Lawrence and Ethel (Lefrink) Hiller. A WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, he was one of the first Americans into Japan upon the Surrender. After the war, he married Lois Borneman on August 16, 1947, and soon they moved to Nashville, TN, where he became a manufacturer's representative and distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic industrial equipment. After several years in Nashville, they relocated to Pittsburgh in 1950 where he established the Ralph A. Hiller Company, from which he retired in 1990. Ralph enjoyed flying his own plane (he was a member of the select QB pilots club), golf, hunting, fishing, skiing, and ham radio. He was a member for many years of St. Peter's Church, Brentwood, and South Hills Country Club. Ralph is survived by his wife, Lois; his daughter, Linda (David) Mathus; his son, J. Randolph Hiller; grandsons, Benjamin (Crystal) Mathus, and Joshua Mathus; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Hiller; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation.
