DENNEHY ELISABET (RODRIGUEZ) Elegant, classic, powerful. Elisabet Rodriguez Dennehy, known to her family and close friends as Beba, lived a big life and leaves a lasting legacy. She passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 in her home, amongst family and friends, in comfort and dearly loved. She endured cancer for the past eight years but refused to do anything less than thrive during that time, traveling internationally, publishing two books, and pouring into her transformational work. Born in San Juan, Elisabet was the eldest of four children. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Puerto Rico. This is also when she met her husband, Daniel J. Dennehy, through mutual friends and brought together by a delicious plate of lasagna. Their 42-year marriage leaves an indelible mark on any who came to know them, but most especially their daughter, Aisha, and son, Daniel Jose. It was the needs of their children that led them to live in the United States, and during that transition, Elisabet earned a Master of Arts and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. Pittsburgh would later become their home for over 30 years. Her career in Professional Development would extend for over 20 years and span across the globe. Elisabet, through her company Rodriguez and Associates, was an accomplished writer, public speaker, and coach. She owned every room she walked into, armed with a unique combination of class, poise, and strength. Friends and Family are encouraged to visit her this Friday, November 9th from 4-7 p.m., at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC., (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 (412-621-1665). In lieu of flowers, her family encourages donations to the American Lung Association. The family also ask that those who come, bring a printed photo and/or a written memory to share. There will be an opportunity to celebrate her life by sharing those memories together, at 6pm.  Funeral SUNDAY November 11, 2018 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 1066 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228 at 2 p.m. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
