FITLER MARY Mary Josephine Schneider Fitler, age 78, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, peacefully in her home. Mary Jo was a devoted wife for 54 years, a dedicated mother of three, a grandmother of four, and an amazing friend to those her touched her life. Mary Jo was born in Pittsburgh, PA, July 1, 1938. She graduated from Butler High School in 1956. She earned her BSN at Carlow College in 1960. She started her career working at Western Psychiatric Institute in Pittsburgh. She was active with the VNA in Butler, PA and the Junior Women's League. She loved fashion and was a Consultant for The Carlisle Collection for almost 30 years. Mary Jo was a true competitor and loved playing tennis and golf. She was a passionate sports fan who loved cheering on the Steelers and the Penguins. Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Ralston Rusty Biddle Fitler, Jr.; her children, Tamsin Fitler Hankins (John), Ralston Rob Fitler III (Wendi), and Susanna Fitler Fera (Dean); her brother, Thomas Charles Schneider, Jr.; her grandchildren, Sarah Whitten Hankins, Abigail Elizabeth Fitler, Clare Elizabeth Hankins, and Ralston Ralsty Fitler IV. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and co-owner, along with his brother, Marvin, of The Coach House men's clothing stores in Pittsburgh. He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Natalie Morgan Josephs, and a proud father of Lauri Wiss, Ronald (and the late Marilyn) Josephs, Carolyn and Ken Hamlet and Marni Grossman; sons-in-law, Jay Grossman and Mark Gorman. His seven loving grandchildren include Lauren Josephs (and fiancé Brad Dreyfus) of Los Angeles, Eric (and wife Elizabeth) Josephs of Durham, North Carolina, Adam (and Hallie) Josephs of New York, NY, Amanda Wiss of North Carolina, Lucas and Liam Grossman of Wellesley/Dover Massachusetts and Bryce Hamlet of Aspen, Colorado; his great-grandchild, Lucille Margolies Josephs, was born on September 22, 2016. She was born Natalie Jeanne Holman on September 11, 1917, in Lakewood, New Jersey, daughter of John Goodrich and Laura Sutton Holman; elder sister of Robert Sutton Holman and Edythe Claire Holman Jude, and wife of Franklin B. Kelly, all of whom preceded her in death. Left to cherish Natalie's memory are her sons, Franklin H. (Skip) Kelly and his wife, Diane of Franklin Park, D. Jeffrey Kelly and Mary Sapienza of Mt. Lebanon, and James A. Kelly and his wife, Audrey of Kingsport, TN; her grandchildren, Nancy McQueeny (Patrick), Jeffrey S. Kelly (Shelley), Justin Kelly (Courtney), Jonathan Kelly (Jennifer), Leah Adinolfi (Salvatore), Lauren Lane (Stephen), and Lyle Kelly (Amy); and her great- grandchildren, Hallie, Molly, Annie, Caroline, Brendan, Bethany, Everett, Margaret, Gregory, Adeline, Bo, Sarah, Olivia, Keegan, Alathea and Aidia. Natalie's early years were spent in Ocean County, New Jersey, where she met her future husband, Franklin. She graduated in 1939 from New Jersey State Teacher's College at Trenton (now The College of New Jersey), where she was a member of the Philomathean Sigma Sorority (nationally Phi Sigma Sigma). She began her teaching in Neptune City, NJ, served as a Red Cross motor corps volunteer in World War II, and married navy Lieutenant Kelly in 1942. Following the war, they moved to western Pennsylvania where they raised their three sons, were charter members of McKnight United Methodist Church, and made their lives for 40 years, primarily in Ross Township, Allegheny County. Natalie retired in 1980 from the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, where she was employed for 15 years as a secondary school teacher at the Zoar Home for Mothers and Babies in Allison Park, PA and served for a time on its Board. Following her husband's retirement, Natalie lived for 18 years in Ellenton, FL. At the time of her death, Natalie was a resident of Masonic Village at Sewickley. Natalie loved her family, friends, and keeping up with the news of the world and of the PGA Tour. To the end of her life, she was able to look back lovingly on her 45-year marriage to Franklin, a career of teaching and service to others, stimulating travel, and a life close to a supportive family. Her family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff at the Sturgeon Health Care Center at Masonic Village for their professionalism, support, kindness and compassion. Her last home was Canterbury Place, where she enjoyed the friendship of residents and staff alike, singing to all she met, "I love you, a bushel and a peck". She was a spirited, strong woman with a good heart and kind manner. She will be missed by those left behind, but happy to rejoin those who departed before her. MORROW LUOLA WHITE Of Fox Chapel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 16, 2017, from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Born October 2, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, Lola was the daughter of Jack and Elizabeth White. A graduate of Orange High School and Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH (1962), she was with The Higbee Company in Cleveland until 1966. Lola was devoted to her husband, Robert, and her three daughters. She also generously donated her time and talents over the years to numerous organizations including the Fox Chapel Area Schools, Parents Who Care, Fox Chapel Girls Sports Boosters, Delta Gamma sorority, Guyasuta Garden Club, Beechwood Farms, and various programs and activities at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, including numerous children's programs and serving as a member of session. Lola also enjoyed making unforgettable hot-fudge sundaes, cookies and sourdough bread, being part of the 8 Great Tomatoes crew team, traveling, flower arranging, and working in her garden. Lola will be sorely missed but always remembered as a kind, helpful, and supportive wife, mother, and friend. She loved children and doted on her grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. She had a knack for making people feel welcome and her home was always open to family and friends. In addition to her husband, Lola is survived by her daughters: Jody (Jeff) Moore of Georgetown, MA; Susan (Sam) Bell of Seattle, WA; Barbara (Tom) Daenzer of Minneapolis, MN. MISCIO MARGARET M. (GAGLIARDO) Age 101, of Green Tree, suddenly on Monday, January 16, 2017. Wife of the late Joseph A. Miscio; beloved sister of the late Josephine Zuccher, Nicholas Gagliardo, August Gagliardo, Elizabeth "Betty" Gagliardo, Marie Filtz and John Gagliardo; dear stepmother of Mona Russo (the late Ralph) and Joseph Miscio (Severina); devoted grandmother of Dena Ziegler (Mark); special great- grandmother of Andrew and Steven Ziegler; also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Margaret was a retired Registered Nurse for Jones and Laughlin Steel. Friends may call at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt.
