WALLEY ROSE MARIE Age 91, was called home on her birthday, Wednesday, December 28, 2016, to join her beloved husband, Sam. Rose was born in Bridgeville, PA, her father passed when she was young, and as a family of five lived through the depression. She loved her family with all her heart, was the definition of a mother, no one left hungry, anyone in need received help and spent money as if the poor house was just around the corner. She gave back to the community by volunteering at Kane Regional Nursing Center for over 30 years. Rose is survived by a son and daughter, Michael Walley (Sue) of Raleigh, NC and Carol Walley of Robesonia, PA. She will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. BECKER ALBERT P., Jr. Age 79 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away December 28, 2016 after a long illness. Born in Pittsburgh PA; Mr. Becker was a graduate of Langley High School and was employed by J & L Steel (LTV) from 1956 until 2000. He married Carole Jean McClenathan July 15, 1960. Al played Semi-Pro Football from 1956 until 1959 and had received a personal letter from Coach Paul (Bear) Bryant to travel to Alabama to try out for the team. He also was employed at the Meadows Race Track in Washington County, PA for more than 25 years. His passion was football and he gave back to his community by coaching hundreds of young men during his lifetime. He coached the Dormont Boosters Little League Football Club and Chartiers-Houston Youth Football. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole; parents, Albert and Teresa Sieboldt Becker; and brother, Jimmy Becker. Mr. Becker is survived by his children, Dayna Becker ( Bill Turner) of Huntington Beach, CA, Pamela (Mike) Hazlett of Washington, PA; Kimberly (Ronnie) Lane of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Shirley Maiola, Butler, PA; brothers, William, Eugene and Bobby Becker; grandchildren, Sarah Hazlett, Pittsburgh PA, Michael Hazlett, Fresno, CA, Nichole Lane, Lawrenceville GA, Kathrine Lane of Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Mr. Becker's life will be held at Life Care, Lawrenceville, GA where he resided. The date and time will be announced. HARDT THELMA FRANCES (RABOLD) Mrs. Thelma Frances (Rabold) Hardt, 87, of Frederick, passed away peacefully at Kline Hospice House on January 3, 2017. She was the wife of the late David W. Hardt, who passed Dec. 11, 2014. Born July 29, 1929, in Irwin, PA, Thelma was the daughter of the late George and Edith Rabold. She graduated from Mars High School in Mars, PA at the top of her class in 1947, and worked for a number of years as a secretary. In the 1970s she worked as a playground monitor at Pine Elementary School in Gibsonia, PA. Thelma and David were charter members of the Auto Go Campers Camping Club beginning in 1964. They were active members until 2003, and Thelma served in all offices within the club. Mrs. Hardt is survived by her son, Lee Hardt and wife Deb; three grandchildren, David III, Ashlee, and Benjamin; a brother, George Rabold; a sister, Anna Kasperski; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Rabold. A graveside service will be held privately for the family. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Frederick Baptist Church, 5305 Mt. Zion Rd., Frederick, MD 21703, with luncheon to follow. The Rev. DREIER RALPH A., Jr. Age 74, of Hampton Township, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. Born December 21, 1942, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Ruth (Collins) and the late Ralph Dreier, Sr. He was the beloved husband of Darlene (Adams) Dreier. Ralph proudly served in the Air National Guard and was a machinist for 39 years for Duquesne Light. He was a Ford man, who worked on several classic cars and attended the local car cruises. He will be truly missed by his two dogs. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Dreier; three children, Candi Adams, of Manhattan, NY, Melanie (Rob) Grunden, Brent (Erin) Dreier, both of Hampton Township; five grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Dreier; sister, Nadine (Tim) DeLeo; and niece and nephew. SCHMIDT DOLORES MAE 1931-2016 - Dolores, age 85, passed away in Palm Desert, CA on December 31, 2016. She spent most of her life in Pittsburgh and Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. She was married to her beloved husband, the late Paul Robert Schmidt for 58 years. They had three children, Catherine Pjontek (David), Nancy Gentile (Joseph), and Barbara Horney (Frank). Dolores also leaves behind seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. TONTI SISTER CONSILIA, SHS Sister M. Consilia Tonti, formerly Hermina Grace Tonti, age 84, died peacefully on January 4, 2017, in the 59th year of Consecrated Life. Sister Consilia entered Sisters of the Holy Spirit from Regina Coeli Parish in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Carlow College having received a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree. She taught in elementary schools of the Pittsburgh and the Youngstown Diocese for 28 years, her concentration being art. She was an art consultant and instructor at Western Penitentiary, at ACLD centers and at the Rehabilitation Institute. She was an artist with Rohn Studio in Pittsburgh, taught oil painting and was an accredited records technician. Sister Consilia was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Vernacchio Tonti and Annibale Tonti; by siblings, Yolanda Tonti Kachmar, and Leonard Tonti. She is survived by a brother, Norman Tonti and devoted nieces and nephews. Guests will be received at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 9, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017. DePRETIS NANCY J. Died peacefully on January 5, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on October 14, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Bereniece Tenney. Nancy married Andrew Joseph DePretis in 1969 and together they raised four children. Her children were her pride and joy. In 1984, Nancy became a successful businesswoman when she opened and managed Gina Marie's Bridal Boutique for more than 20 years. The bridal boutique gave her the opportunity to work closely with her daughter, Gina, until her retirement in 2009. Family and friends were Nancy's passion and priority. She loved being active and being outdoors, especially in her beautiful yard. She loved to host and entertain and frequently had garden parties at her house. She was a member of the Steel Town Corvette Club and enjoyed planning and participating in various car cruises and events. She enjoyed boating and traveling and became a certified scuba diver in her 60's. Nancy is survived by her husband, Andy; sons, Louis (Melody), Dennis (Beth), Robert (Bethann); and daughter, Gina (Anthony Brozovich, Jr.); as well as grandchildren, Meshach, Mellory (Dave Birner), Justin (Lucy), Ashley, Samantha (Dylan Parasolick), Mark, Anthony (Laura Sedlack), Kyle, Hannah, Emily; and great-grandchildren, Meshach, Mierra, Melody and Emmalyn. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Dorothy Nusser, wife of the late Henry Nusser; as well as many nieces and nephews. A tireless, loving, generous, and punctual woman, she excelled at positive nagging.
