DULANEY DEVON MY DAYS NOW LOST...
DULANEY
DEVON
My days now lost without you here, my heart aches in total despair
My tears won't stop without you near
My hearts now broken in tiny bits my mind now fills with angry fits
My heart, my soul, my precious one my gift from God, My only Son
My pain is deeper than words could express my life without you now filled with emptiness
You were so much more than just MY Son, a loving friend to everyone
For every person you ever met, Even the ones you never let
Talk of their lives now so blessed for meeting the Boy whom now rests.
Your Kind, caring, and loving, ways your smile alone brightened their days
I wonder now if you even knew, how very proud we all were of you
That shy little boy we all knew, The Super Star you grew into
Your smile it ran oh so deep that dimples covered every inch of cheek
Your heart it ran deeper still it held us together and always will,
Your jet black hair styled just right, your smart-aleck comments always tight.
A true Friend through and through, a loving Son, a brother too.
Even as you passed away you had one more gift, something to say
With those Hazel eyes that shined so bright, you gave another the gift of sight.
My heart it beams with pride and joy, for my son, my little boy
You came into this world a Healthy, bundle of joy
You left this world giving so much more, never one to even the score
What we wouldn't give to have you here, even for just one day more.
Happy 20th Birthday Devon, We all love and Miss you,
Mom, Dad, Chauncie, and Paige
