REUTER WILBERT HENRY Age 94, of Tennille, Georgia, formerly of Penn Hills, PA died on Sunday, May 24, 2015, in an Augusta hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Reuter was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Reuter was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 5, 1920, son of the late August Reuter and Florence Lehrman Reuter. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Reuter worked for Mine Safety Appliance Company in Pittsburgh for 47 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Mulberry Presbyterian Church. Survivors are his wife of 70 years, Ruth Blattner Reuter of Tennille; a daughter, Lois Reuter Meeks and her husband, George of Tennille; two grandchildren, Robin Gray Stefurak of Mobile, Alabama and John Paul Gray of Bishop, Georgia; and three great- grandchildren, Lane Ruth Stefurak, Robert Gray Stefurak and Julianne Lily Gray. Sparks obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Music from Carlow University, her Master's Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University and her Master's of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She was very active in musical theater in the Pittsburgh area as well. Daughter of the late Cora Sparks and the late Ronald Sparks; loving sister of Debbie (Bernie) Seneway of MD. Survived by many loving cousins. Her close loving friends that worked with her throughout her ministry, Bonnie DiCarlo, Rev. Dr. Willa Dean Lowery and Rev. Dr. Moni McIntyre. Rev. Sparks will be fondly remembered by her church community, and the students, staff and faculty at Carlow University and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. BUNCHER EARL On Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa (Elisa Stasi); daughter, Andrea (Michael) Bringuel; son, Jay; and grandchildren, Haley and Josh Bringuel. Earl Buncher began his broadcasting career at WEDO in McKeesport as an account executive and later sales manager. After a tour of duty in Korea where he was program director for radio station homesteader, Armed Forces Radio, he returned to Pittsburgh to WJAS Radio as an account executive. Mr. Buncher was promoted to station manager and instituted one of the first talk and news formats in the city. After the sale of WJAS to Heftel Broadcasting, Mr. Buncher joined the Louis J. Sautel advertising agency as an account executive. There he handled a variety of accounts and was offered a position of director of advertising and public relations for Computer Tech. He left Computer Tech to become advertising director for two weekly newspapers, The Advertiser and The Almanac. Always searching for new challenges, he left Pittsburgh for San Diego where he organized a sales team for six weekly newspapers in Temecula, California. The next stop was Ryno Productions in Beaver County, PA. Here again he had the responsibility of organizing a cable and sales department covering six cable systems. When these cable systems became part of Comcast, Mr. Buncher joined WBGN-TV as an account executive.
