ROTTMAYER PRISCILLA MAE “PAT” (BOLING) Passed away peacefully, after a courageous journey with breast cancer, with her beloved husband, Robert Earl Rottmayer, at her side. Pat leaves behind a family that loves and adores her. Her son, Michael Robert Rottmayer and his wife, Agnes Consolacion; daughter, Julie Ann Rottmayer and husband, Paul Butkus; two grandchildren, Amelia Mae and Julian Robert Butkus; brothers, Norman and Raymond Boling; sister-in-law, Sue Able; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Mae and father, Wildering Monroe Boling; and her sister, Ruth Ann Parker. Pat was born in Indiana, and she graduated Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio in 1961. In Akron, she met her husband, Robert, and they were married in 1965 at the Firestone Park Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. The couple moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she supported her husband's graduate studies working in Human Resources at ETC Corporation. In 1970, she moved to Massachusetts, where she was a 15-year resident of the Town of Harvard. In addition to being active in her children's schools, she volunteered for the Friends of the Harvard Public Library to further a lifelong love of books. She was proud to become an assistant librarian in Harvard, where she worked until her move to Fremont, California in 1992. In Fremont, she became active in the Antelope Hills Homeowners Association and served on its Board of Directors and as President. A later move took her to Wexford, PA, where she became a devoted Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Upon her husband's retirement, the couple moved back to California and she spent her last three years in Santa Rosa doting on her two grandchildren. Pat had an artistic streak, throughout her life she pursued creative hobbies, including sewing, quilting, home decorating, and restoring antiques. In recent years, she was an avid crafter with a craft room that rivaled any other, and she enjoyed sharing her handmade cards and crafts with family and friends. A private celebration of her life will be held in September. Final arrangements handled by Daniels Chapel of The Roses in Santa Rosa, CA. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Gronsky. She was a retired employee of Woolworth's and was a member of St. Victor Church , Bairdford, where she was active with the Ladies Guild. She was the cherished mother of her six children, Christine (Joseph) Romano of Greensburg, Michael (Susann) Gronsky of Ligonier, Gregg (Clair) Gronsky of Cheswick, Judith (John) Ruhl of Sarver, Jeffrey Gronsky of Ligonier and Cathy (Daniel) Gaston of Sarver; deeply loved by her ten grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) Gronsky, Megan Romano, Bradley (Jaqueline) Gronsky, Michael (Jennifer) Gronsky, Adam (Nicole) Gronsky, Angela (Michael) Petrosky, Rebecca Gronsky, Nathaniel Ruhl, Alyssa (fiance Adam Bania) Gaston and Derek (Kiersten) Gaston; and her true joys, great-grandchildren, Olivia, Addalyne, Chase, Ethan, Lucienna, and Hayden; she is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Hipkiss, Howard (Teresa) Brandt, Jr., Thomas (Barbara) Brandt, and Judith (James) Erick; and numerous nieces and nephews. GONZALES RUBEN A. Age 79, died on August 26, 2014. A Vietnam veteran and longtime resident of Squirrel Hill, he is survived by his children, Debbie (Cecil) Lizana, Dianna Harper, Teresa Callahan, Adrian (Renee) Gonzales, Andrew (Paulette) Gonzales; 13 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; his siblings, Lucio (Jeanette) Gonzales, Robert (Yolanda) Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Rosemary (Armand) Champain, Gloria Gonzales, Marta (Eduardo) Arredondo, Elisabeth Galicia, Anna Ulloa, Jesus Cabrera, Carlos Cabrera, Susanna Cabrera; and dear friend, Rosemary Freeman. Preceded in death by his wife, Gudrun Gonzales; and brother, David Gonzales. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. While in the USAF, Ruben was stationed in South Dakota, Georgia, Colorado, Hawaii, and overseas in England, Italy, Germany, and Vietnam. He received commendations for his work at the Air Force Academy and assisting with the Vietnamese refugee relocation program at Wake Island. A graduate of California State University, he worked for the Veteran's Administration for 24 years and retired as a Veteran's Claim Representative. He will be remembered for his courage, his service to country, and his love of golf. Friends will be received on Sunday, August 31, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at JOHN A. Born October 10, 1924, in Pittsburgh, PA to William and Carrie Burge, she is survived by her beloved husband, Fred S. Marvin. Charlotte was the mother of Maureen Walsh Palermo (Frank), Charlotte Walsh Fowler (Jack), Richard J. Walsh, Jr. (Scarlett), Daniel P. Walsh (Janeen), and Michael C. Walsh (Erik Emanuelson); grandmother of Jenny Fowler Perez-Abreu (Robert), Julie Fowler Perdomo (Luis), Jeannie Walsh Fabian (Marco), Richard J. Walsh III, Daniel P. Walsh, Jr. (Eileen), Andrew R. Walsh, Patricia M. Palermo, Kellie S. Walsh; great-grandmother to Kaitlyn and Kelsey Perdomo, Richard Tyler and Ashley Walsh, Julia, Jackie, and Bobby Perez-Abreu, Andrew R. Walsh Jr., and Mylo R. Fabian. She leaves behind her sister, Mary Laverne Little (William); many nieces and nephews; and stepsons, Gary Marvin (Rita), Doug Marvin (Angela) and their family. Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, Richard J. Walsh, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Walsh; brother, William Burge; and sisters, Eileen Unitas and Norma Jean Hochendoner. Charlotte was a founding member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Miami, serving on various committees in the school and parish before moving to Naples, Florida where she was a coordinator for the Ministry of Praise at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was also a volunteer at Naples Community Hospital, as well as at an elementary school in the area, and a longtime volunteer at The Rose Garden, a pro-life second hand store. Viewing will be at St. Louis Catholic Church, Pinecrest, on Friday, August 29, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. Louis, followed by Burial in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Naples, Florida.
