JAMES A. GOYETTE James A. Goyette of Cincinnati, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed on January 28, 2020 at the age of 79. Son of the late Andrew and Harriet Flannigan Goyette. Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Chris Dwyer Goyette; son, Paul (Dione) Goyette; daughter, Lisa (Joe) Kruse; grandchildren, Jackson, Finleigh, Hayes, Monica, and Kevin; and brother, Bill (Regina) Goyette. Jim graduated from Georgetown University and served in the US Air Force at Offutt AFB Omaha, NB. He returned to Pittsburgh where he enjoyed a leadership role in the Pittsburgh Jaycees. He left Pittsburgh in 1973 to join the Commerce Department as Special Assistant to the Under Secretary, John Tabor. Jim and family arrived in Cincinnati in 1983. He was immersed in Program Management at OLLI. He thrived in training dogs for Canine Companions for Independence and was a lay leader in various capacities at Good Shepherd Parish. Jim cherished family, dogs, and ice cream. Family and friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, February 1 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. JESSICA LEIGH BERKEBILE Jessica Leigh Berkebile, 38, of Bethel Park, died Sunday, January 26, 2020, in her home, after losing her battle with addiction. She was born June 10, 1981, in Upper St. Clair, a daughter of Donald (Kathy) Berkebile and Suzette Baker (Carl) Sprowls, who survive. Jessica was a 2000 graduate of South Park High School and went on to graduate from Carlow University. She was most recently working at Eat'n Park in South Park. Previously she was a special education teacher in North Carolina and Louisiana. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Elizabeth Berkebile, of Shelby, NC; a step-brother, Kris Ward; and a step-sister, Erin Ward. LINDA J. (TUITE) ROSENTHAL Age 75, of Pittsburgh, died peacefully at her home on, Tuesday, January 28, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Donald; sister, Judy Moore (the late Jack); three nephews, Danny (Mary), Brian (Michele) and Craig (Tracy); and two stepsons, Stephen and Peter (Heather); two grandsons; several grandnephews and grandnieces. Linda was born in Pittsburgh and was raised in Brentwood, PA. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Clarion University and a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh, also in education. Linda taught English in the Pittsburgh city schools for 31 years, including more than 20 years at Oliver High School. Linda loved to travel, read and entertaining her many friends with spontaneous parties at her homes in Pittsburgh and Seven Springs. She was an usher for many years at the Pittsburgh Public and O'Reilly theatres and served on the board of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association or the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. Husband of the late Regina Margaretta Sullivan; father of James Michael Nolan, Jill Nolan Harris (fiancé, James Robert Johns) and the late Jeffery Sullivan Nolan (survived by wife, Debra Nolan); grandfather of James Paul Nolan (Lesley Rooke), Katie Sullivan Nolan, Jeffrey James Nolan (Jesse) and the late Jessica Kathleen Nolan; great-grandfather of Hobson James Nolan; dear friend of the late Alma Eggers; brother-in-law of the late Patricia Sullivan. Son of the late James Lawrence Nolan and Gertrude Mary Earl. He was raised by his grandmother, the late Nellie Nolan and Aunt Marie (Nolan) Feltovich. Mr. Nolan was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving in Iwo Jima during WWII. He was a proud member in the Honor Guard of the VFW Post 5111, and was an Operating Engineer for the City of Pittsburgh. DAVID CHARLES "LEW" LEWANEWSKY Age 64, of Bellevue, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020. He was the loving father of Desiree Lewanewsky; devoted brother and best friend of Darlene (Danny) Ryan; brother of Marilyn (Gary) Skrocki, Michele (Nelson) Macey, Michael Mudler, the late Bobby Lewanewsky and the late Sis (surv.
