KORVICK RICHARD S. Age 95, of Wexford, PA, died in Overland Park, Kansas, Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born to the late Joseph and Anna Korvick of Pittsburgh, PA. Richard graduated from Allegheny HS in 1942. He served in the army during WWII, afterward using the GI Bill to complete a BS in Engineering degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He worked for Rockwell. He married Ruth M. Lehner in 1950 and spent their 63-year marriage in the Wexford, PA area, until her passing. Recently living in Kansas near his son, Richard Steven, and family. Richard Stanley was a loving father and his cheerfulness and singing brought joy to others. He was passionate about raising his ?ve children. Richard attended St. Alexis Catholic Church regularly, and more recently Nativity Church in Kansas.   Richard is survived his ?ve children: Dr. Joyce Korvick of Silver Spring, MD; Dr. Donna Korvick of San Antonio, TX; Richard Korvick of Leawood, KS; David Korvick of Fort Smith, AR, and Mark Korvick of San Jose, CA. He also is survived by seven grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren.   Family and friends received on Sunday, February 17, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at GEORGE A. ZITCOVICH JOHN P. , Sr. Of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Anna Mae; his two sons, John P. Zitcovich, Jr. and Kevin A. Zitcovich; and two grandchildren, Gregory and Lindsay Zitcovich. He is survived by his son, David Zitcovich; and his daughters, Donna (Richard) Berrish and Cindy (Jim) O'Toole; as well as ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. John served in the Army and was a decorated World War II veteran. He worked as a welder and was involved in building nuclear reactors for the USS Nautilus. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed. Friends will be received on Friday from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at PAUL HENNEY CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, Bethel Park. Interment will be private. CATANZANO JOSEPH Age 93, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, of Swissvale. Beloved husband of the late Ann (D'Alesio) Catanzano; loving father of Rose Ann Mycka and her late husband, Robert of Monroeville, Theresa Kocak and her husband, Albert of Forest Hills, and Joanne Hogan and her husband, Robert of Kennesaw, GA; dear grandfather of Joseph and Robert John "R.J." Mycka, Ryan and Justin Kocak, and Sal and Gina Hogan; great-grandfather of Hunter and Meredith Mycka; brother of Sam Catanzano and his wife, Sara, Renee Unglo and her late husband, Paul, and the late John Catanzano and his late wife, Julie; also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Joe and John were the former owners of the Triangle Bar and Grill. The business was started by their parents in 1934. Joe and John created the Battleship Sandwich, the sandwich is world famous and very popular with Pittsburghers, and has been shipped around the US. Born June 5, 1931 in Greentree, PA, a son of the late Paul and Hilda (Nimpfer) Schneider. Harold served as owner and President of H. J. Schneider Construction, Inc. until his retirement in 1999. He served as President of the Western Pennsylvania Utility Contractors Assn., and as President of the National Utility Contractors Assn. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, NRA, Judicial Watch, Elks Lodge, Lions Club, Keystone Elk Country Alliance, Butler County Law Enforcement Officers Association, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Ruffed Grouse Society. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and ?shing. Harold leaves behind, sons, Harold “Harry” J. (Elizabeth) Schneider, Jr. of Karns City, David L. (Deborah) Schneider of Portersville, and Daniel K. MAZUR FRANK JOSEPH, Jr. Age 87, of Washington, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, in Bridgeville Rehab and Care Center. He was born on February 12, 1932, in Carnegie, a son of the late Frank J. and Ann Zarvis Mazur. A 1950 graduate of Robinson Township High School, he was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Mr. Mazur had worked as a supervisor for Owens Brockway Glass Company. He often appeared on public television in Zanesville, OH, talking about the company. Frank enjoyed playing golf. On June 14, 1952, he married Lillian A. Morne, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Frank Joseph (Patricia) Mazur, III, and Kenneth David (Joyce) Mazur; two brothers, Fred (Ann) Mazur and James (Karen) Mazur; a sister, Barbara Katz; four grandchildren, Marianne (Pete) McGill, Michael Mazur, David (Kaitlyn) Mazur and Amanda Mazur; and two great grandchildren, Cheyenne McGill and Elijah Holly?eld.   Deceased are a brother, Richard Mazur and a sister, Dorothy Norton.   Friends will be received on Friday, February 15, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., in the WILLIAM G. He was a 1955 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and a retired Lt. Col. of the Army Reserves. George was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Norma Jean Kushner. He is survived by his sons, George M. (Diane) and David (Marie); daughters, Barbara Repasy and Patricia Stephens (Mark); grandchildren, George, Thomas, Katherine, Matthew, Samuel, Casey, Dean, Trevor and Abigail. Originally from New York City, Dwyer lived in Wexford for 36 years before moving to the Washington, D.C., area in 2016. A graduate of Manhattan College, he worked as a civil engineer for the American Bridge Division of U.S. Steel, and the Port Authority of Allegheny County for almost 50 years. He was preceded in death by Patricia Anne, his wife of 43 years. He is survived by his children: daughters Kathleen, of Boston; Patricia, of Carol Stream, Illinois; and sons Kevin and Brian, of Alexandria, Virginia; and Robert of Arlington, Virginia; and ten grandchildren.
