(Yearm) Leppold; husband of Bernadette, brother of Virginia and Richard; father of Maureen Kowalski (Mike Janesko), Stephen (Kay) Leppold, Edward Leppold, Judith Leppold (Herbert Ho), and Lynne (Adam) Mercer; grandfather of Molly Kowalski (Matt Ceraso), Claire Leppold, Marc Leppold, Alexander Ho, Ira Mercer, and Mara Mercer. Cole was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and a retiree from the US Steel Corporation. He was a member of the Verona Eagles and the Plum American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Rusty. Friends and relatives are invited to a blessing and interment service at Mt. Louis "the Gent" Cioppa was also a member and one of the lead singers of the WeeJams doo-wop group. He was best known for singing Shama Lama, Abigail and Under The Boardwalk. Beloved husband of 10 years on November 8, 2018 Mary Jane (Tarabek) Beresnyak Davies; loving father of Mary Patricia Anne (Anthony) Boddy; grandfather of Mandy and Steven (Nicole) Boddy; great-grandfather of Zachary and Amelie Boddy; and step-great-grandson, Marcus Boddy; stepfather of Roseanne (James) Gordon of West Mifflin, Susan (James) Fiordeliso of Philadelphia, Amy (Dr. Robert) Nassif of Adams Twp., Frank (Josephine) Beresnyak Jr. of North Huntingdon; step-grandfather of eight, Jane and Evan Fiordeliso, Olivia and Julia Nassif, Anna, Bella, and Gabby Beresnyak, and Matt (Molly) Gordon. Richard was born in London, England on April 19, 1921 to the late Leonard and Edith Mary (Dunsidon) Davies. He was a housing official for the local government in England. In 1940, at the age of 20 years, he volunteered into the Royal Air Force. In 1942, he trained as a wireless operator and in 1943 was trained as an air gunner to get his wings and sergeant stripes. In March of 1943, he was a radio flying instructor. In January of 1945, he was in operation training in Wellingtons Bomber. In June of 1945, he flew with the 135 Squadron Lancaster and flew a total of 1000 hours. In 1946, he was demobilized with the rank of warrant officer. He was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish. He attained celebrity status since coming to the United States being recognized in stores and in public. NIEDERBERGER PAUL J. Age 62, of Cecil Township, formerly of Baldwin Borough, unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 31. He was the beloved brother of Ernest (the late Nadine) of St. Petersburg, FL, Regis (Kathleen) of South Fayette, Rita (Oliver) Shoemaker of Gibsonia, and Mary (Bill Kelleher) of Bethel Park; he is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, Lori Christ, Scott, Eric, Trent, and Nathan Niederberger, Jessica Shoemaker, Lauren (Craig) Bustos, and Molly and Shane Kelleher. Paul was a 1980 graduate of Duquesne University's School of Pharmacy. He started his career as a pharmacist at the former Stebbrook Pharmacy in Brookline. In 1993, he took a job with Kmart pharmacies, first as an itinerate pharmacist and later as a permanent pharmacist at the Chippewa Kmart in Beaver Falls, where he worked for a number of years until 2016. He had many friends among the Kmart staff and customers, sometimes meeting customers for coffee before his shift. Paul enjoyed traveling with his family, and spending time with his family, and especially attending the sporting events and other activities of his nieces and nephews. At one time he was an avid runner and completed two Pittsburgh Marathons in the 1980s. There will be no visitation or services as Paul chose to donate his remains to science. ZALAZNIK DENNIS A. Dennis, age 63, of Bulger, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 2, 2018. He was born April 18, 1955 the son of the late Donald and Donna (Nagode) Zalaznik. Dennis was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Felton) Zalaznik of 38 years, who survives; dedicated and caring father of Bryan (Laura) Zalaznik and Kevin (Abbey) Zalaznik; cherished grandfather of Clara Zalaznik; brother of Donald (Paula) Zalaznik, Diane (Dan) Bucker, and Debbie Zalaznik. Mr. Zalaznik was a graduate of Burgettstown high school and the University of Penn State. He was a retired contractor for the family businesses, Falling Timber, Midway Block, and Midway Contracting. Dennis was also a very active member of the Raccoon Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Midway Volunteer Fire Department. Dennis was one who enjoyed his family and life to the fullest, but most of all he enjoyed helping people no matter the size of the project, he would be there with his hard working hands, kind smile and words of encouragement. REBEL JANICE R. (STEVENSON) Janice went home to be with her Lord and savior on Sunday, November 4, 2018. She was 79, of Pittsburgh. Beloved wife of the late Eugene; dear mother of Ken Rebel and Mary (Alan) Dyar; loving grandmother of Wendy Rebel, Rachael (Christof) Nordin, and Jeremy Harshman; stepsister of Cora (Bruce) Ringinger. Janice was a member of St. Thomas More Church and was active in the prayer shawl ministry. She also was active in the folk group of St. Raphael Church, Morningside. Janice was a member of ALON and was very proud of her husband for going through AA. She also loved all animals, especially her dogs, Sam and Toby. Friends welcome Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 12 noon at FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 112 Fort Couch Rd.
