FEILER ALICE (RUTTER) Age 95, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry C. Feiler, Sr. They were owners of Feiler's Diner (1949-1963). Manager of the Sewickley Motor Inn until its closing, and then retired as Manager of the Longue Vue Country Club. Alice was a member of the Allegheny Historic Preservation Society and volunteered by directing weddings to help preserve Calvary United Methodist Church. Survived by a son, Terry C. Feiler, Jr.; loving daughter, Linda Anne Sieg; granddaughter, M. Kathryn Sieg-Eckroat; and great-granddaughter, Angela M. Sieg. PERRI TERRIJONI ELAINE M. Age 74, of North Versailles, died Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born September 3, 1943, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Steven and Suzanna (Kraves) Vanisko and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Perri, Sr. Elaine was a retired insurance agent and was a longtime Home Interiors representative and demonstrator. She was a member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles, loved to bowl, and enjoyed crafts and going to the casino. She is survived by her husband, Norman G. Terrijoni; her children Ernie (Pauline) Perri of Monroeville, Lisa (Shawn) Perri-Lang of West Leechburg, and Annamarie (Tony) Marietta of Hunker; step children Heidi (Jim) McNamara of Hunker and Norman G. Terrijoni of White Oak; her grandchildren Deidra (John) Dubbbs, Phillip (Jennifer) Lang, Daniel Lang, Dominick Perri, Harley (Eric Schneider) Perri, Kayla Lang, Sarah (Patrick) Sphon, Brittany Marietta, Ryan Marietta, and Josh McNamara; great-grandchildren Gabriella, Austin, Kaycie, Logan, and Cason; her brother Donald Vanisko of Level Green; also loving nieces and nephews. SPERLING ESTHER (SLAVKIN) Age 85, of Mt. Lebanon, PA, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Esther was the beloved wife and inseparable companion for 64 years of Mitchell Sperling; loved mother of Gerri Sperling (David Slesnick) and Larry Sperling (Lourdes Bufill); adored grandmother of Elana Slesnick; and treasured aunt of niece, Deborah Slavkin Arnold; and nephews, David Slavkin, Alan Schrader, Glenn Schrader and Mark Schrader. She is also loved and survived by great-nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jennie Slavkin; brother, Milton Slavkin; and niece, Diane Slavkin Benson. She was a past President of Temple Emanuel's Sisterhood and Co-Chair of its gift shop. A teacher by training and by calling, Esther taught school for over thirty years, primarily with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, taught GED classes for almost fifteen years after her retirement from the AIU, and taught religious school at Temple Emanuel in Mt. Lebanon. She also taught her children, granddaughter, nieces and nephews invaluable life lessons that they cherish. Esther was the matriarch of a widespread but close knit extended family, who loved and revered her so much. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. WALSH ELIZABETH "BETTY" Age 82, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Retired from PNC Mortgage Company, she loved gardening and music and she loved her family fiercely. She was truly the matriarch of the Walsh clan. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Francis “Barry” Walsh who resides in a local Alzheimer's care facility in Pittsburgh; her three children, Erin (Paul) Walker, Maureen (Chuck) Muziani, and John (Julie) Walsh; and her beloved grandchildren, Kevin and Maura Teal and Kayleigh and Daniel Walsh; her brother, William (Joy) Shafer; her nephew, Jamie Shafer; and niece, Cara (Philip) Wicker; as well as many cousins and other family whom she adored. BREIER RICHARD J. "DICK" Age 84, surrounded by his loving family in his Mt. Lebanon home, on Monday, July 23, 2018. Beloved husband for 54 years of Carol (Kubiak) Breier; devoted father of Gregory J. (Lisa) Breier of Novelty, OH, Douglas R. (Mollie) of Peters Twp. and Sherri Marie (Kraig) McEwen of Mars, PA; proud grandfather of Jackie, Jayson, Carlee, Casey, Alec and Kyle; brother of Donald (Sharon), Jim (Barbara) Breier, and the late Nancy Zdrale; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dick was a 1952 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and Veteran of the U.S. Army. He began his career in the water heater industry as an employee of the Ruud Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh in 1957 and two years later was a founding member of Water Heater Specialists. In 1985 he became the owner of Water Heater Distributors. Dick enjoyed old cars, boating, spending time with his grandchildren, and creating a lifetime of memories at Conneaut Lake. He was an active member of the Duquesne Canoe Club and the Western PA Corvair Club. WATTERSON MARGARETTA "DAISY" Margaretta Watterson, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Laurderdale, FL. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on September 1, 1917, the daughter of Fredrick and Louisa Johanssen. She graduated from Shenley High School and later married Clifford Watterson on July 28, 1939. In 1976, they moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where they shared 47 years together. Earlier on, she enjoyed her poker club and then learned to golf. She played at St. Clair County Club and in Ft. Lauderdale at Coral Ridge County Club. She was very social and extremely loved by family and friends. PINYOT WILLA RITA (O'DONNELL) A youthful 89, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Rita led a life devoted to family, friends, and church; was an avid volunteer; loved traveling with the love of her life, Ernie; and is well-known for sharing her deep love for God with everyone she met. She believed in Romans 10:9-10 that only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and by His grace, can one enjoy eternity in Heaven. We are so thankful to have been blessed to have Rita as our beloved wife, mom, grandmother,great-grandmother, sister, aunt, mentor, friend, and #1 cheerleader. Rita is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ernest Pinyot; daughter Denise (Patrick) Perry, and grandchildren Stephen (Julia), Hannah, and Rachel Perry, and great-grandchildren Isabel and James; daughter Laurie (Jim) Cunningham, and grandson Jimmy; son David (Mary) Pinyot, and grandchildren Nick, Lacy, Brandon, Rachel (Kuhu), Russell, and Robyn (Colby); son Stephen (Christine) Pinyot, and granddaughters Emily and Catherine; son Jeff (Ruth) Pinyot, and grandchildrenChristopher, Caroline, Jonathan, and Justin; her dear sister Marilyn Colosmo, brother-in-law Don (Karen) Ries; many nieces and nephews whom she loved; and so many dear friends met from wonderful church communities like St. Bonaventure, North Hills Christian Church, Moody Church, Christ Church at Grove Farm, and Dutilh UMC; neighbors, bridge partners, decades of volunteering buddies, Peabody High School alum, Sherwood Oaks friends, and many more. LEONHISER HENRY R. "BUTCH" Age 80, of Pittsburgh, on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Lugaila) Leonhiser; son of the late Henry and Stella Leonhiser; loving father of Keith, Victor, Rick (Lisa) Leonhiser and the late Louanne Leonhiser; brother of Betty Jean Weis; grandfather of Jennifer, Jason, Jillian, Julie, Amber and Sydney; great-grandfather of Aaron, Hailey and Jared; and many nieces and nephews.
