OLESAK MICHAEL E. Age 73, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his residence. Michael was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and came to Perth Amboy 41 years ago. Mike graduated from South High School, Class of 1963. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Pittsburgh where he attended on a swimming scholarship. He was the Owner/Operator of Maximum Recovery Adjusters, located in Perth Amboy, for over 30 years. He retired in 2013. Mike loved his Pittsburgh teams and cherished spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Michael "Ike" and Kathryn "Lamie " (Gibbons) Olesak. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Dyana (Rosa) Olesak; beloved father of John Hicks and his wife, Justine Lackey; adored grandfather of Willow Hicks. He was a dear brother of Kathryn A., Robert E. and his wife, Denise Olesak; as well as a loving brother-in-law of Gretchen and David Anagnos. YAWORSKI WALTER "LUD" Age 91, of Scott Twp., on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Beloved husband of 65 years to Elizabeth Betty (Lawrence) Yaworski; son of the late Dmitri and Eva Karpika Yaworski; loving father of Arian (Jane Anne) Yaworski, Christine (Joe) Censullo, Debbie (Kevin) Rozsa, Dan Yaworski; grandfather of Stephanie, Nicole, Nicholas, Kathryn, Joseph, Ethan, and Cameron. He was godfather to Tom Steffora, a special nephew. Lud was part of the greatest generation and took the call to service joining the United States Marine Corps having served in World War II as a Private First Class having participated in action against the enemy in Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands. He was a machine gunner and expert with MM rifle and bayonet. Upon returning from the war, he joined Penn Central and Conrail having served on the rails for over 40 years. Lud had a love of basketball and played at Scott High and was a WPIAL official for 43 years having officiated numerous State Championships. He was a lifelong member of Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church where he ran an athletic club and was honored by the Bishop for his commitment in helping the youth in the Federated Russian Orthodox Club. CRAIG MARGARET A. Of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly in her home on July 4, 2018. She was 60 years old. Maggie graduated from North Hills High School, where she met her best friend and long-time love, Raymond Craig, whom she married in October of 1978. Maggie and Ray built a home and a beautiful family together in West View. Her greatest accomplishment was her two kids, Mandy and Brandon, her pride and joy. Maggie loved the holidays and family gatherings because she got to spend time with the three people who took up the most space in her heart, her beloved grandchildren, Milo, Cora, and Ellie. She was an excellent seamstress, and we take comfort knowing her grandkids will have those keepsakes made with love by Bamie forever. Maggie worked at Pittsburgh Public Schools as an interpreter for the deaf and made an impact on numerous young lives as well as those of her fellow colleagues. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Betty Filbert; and leaves behind her husband, Ray Craig; daughter, Mandy (Joe) Hartz; son, Brandon Craig (Chelsea Pompeani); proud grandmother of Milo Joseph and Cora Jane Hartz (Mandy) and Ellie Grace Craig (Brandon); sister, Laura (Don) Korade; sister, Norma Filbert; brother, Norbert Filbert; and her nieces and nephews. Maggie had the ability to light up a room by just walking into it. She went out of her way to always make everyone feel special, appreciated, and wanted. She was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. The world lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained an angel. In the end, we'll be together again. William was born in Easthampton, MA, July 22, 1928, the son of Albert O. and Anna H. Hupfer Cummings. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Boston College with a BSN. He did his internship at McClean Hospital. He was employed as the Director of Nursing at Wrentham State School, later Director of Nursing at Mayview State Hospital, Bridgeville, PA, then Superintendent at Somerset State Hospital, Somerset, PA. William was involved in Little League as a coach and umpire, American Red Cross, Auxillary Police in Bellingham and was an Eagle Scout. Evelyn was born May 6, 1928 in Warren, MA, the daughter of Roy A. and Clara Vilandri Reim. She graduated from Warren High School. The goodness of her heart and soul was felt by all that called her Ma. Her love was unconditional, she was sweet and kind and her compassion touched many lives. Evelyn and William retired to Bellingham in 1981. They celebrated 70 years of marriage on June 1, 2018. They were loving father and mother to Gary Cummings and his wife Irene of Bellingham, MA, Barry Cummings and his wife Chantel of Jacksonville, NC, Jeffrey Cummings and his wife Maria of Cecil, PA, Rebecca Cummings-Suppi of Skippack, PA; they were predeceased by two sons, Kevin Cummings and James Cummings, and one daughter Debra Butler; Evelyn is survived by one sister, Phyllis Adams of West Brookfield, MA; two brothers Charles Reim and his wife Margie of West Brookfield, MA, Donald Reim and his wife Evelyn of Three Rivers, MA; she was predeceased by Roy A. Formerly from Jefferson Hills, PA and born in Colver, PA, to the late Arthur and Martha Price, she moved to Scott Depot to be closer to her daughter, Barbara King. Marian graduated from Ebensburg (PA) High School and Indiana State Teachers College of PA (IUP). She taught Home Economics in numerous high schools in the Ringgold, Elizabeth Forward and Clairton School districts. She and her late husband, Joseph, were very active in the Jefferson United Presbyterian Church in Jefferson Hills, PA, being instrumental in the spiritual and physical growth of their church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; daughter, Gretchen Petruna; and brother, Arthur E. Price. Marian is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Steve) King; granddaughter, Sarah (Matthew) Childers; great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Jo Childers; son-in-law, Russell Petruna; and nieces and nephews.
