JACOBS FLORENCE (NIST) 94, of Red Hill, PA, formerly of San Antonio, TX, died on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. She was the wife of the late William G. Jacobs. Born on March 21, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was one of sixteen children of the late Louis and Esther (McAdams) Nist. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Carhart of Green Lane, PA; two granddaughters, Mary Susan Powell and Jean Ellen Powell both of Philadelphia; three sisters; and one brother. For over thirty years, Mrs. Jacobs sewed and donated clothing to The Children's Shelter in San Antonio, TX. The family requests memorial contributions are made to the shelter in her memory.
