JACQUELINE AVENI UHLER After a brave effort for another chance at life, Jacqueline Aveni Uhler, age 51 of Ingomar passed away in Cleveland, OH on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Beloved wife for 20 years of Jason Uhler; loving mother of Mateo Uhler; sister of Nestor Aveni and Monica (Charles Ranii) Aveni-Ranii; daughter-in-law of Joseph Uhler; daughter of the late Antonio and Hilda (Lucero) Aveni. A native of Mendoza, Argentina, Jacquie came to Pittsburgh for her first liver transplant, with Dr. Thomas Starzl at age 15. Her family later made Pittsburgh their home where she graduated magna cum laude from Penn Hills H.S. Jacquie was an exercise fanatic (Zumba and kick boxing), passionate about being a nail technician, and loved going to Jason's Greater Pgh. Mustang Club events, where she was the life of the party. Despite having issues of her own, but the first to help others, Jacquie will be remembered as the most thoughtful, caring, and giving person on Earth. Jacquie was a positive force of energy and love in the Latin Community and an inspiration to all who met her. Friends received 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7720 Perry Hwy., Pgh., PA 15237. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Alexis Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CORE, 204 Sigma Drive, Pgh., PA 15238 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
