NANCY K. MYERS With sadness, the family of Nancy K. Myers, age 87, of Indiana Township, announces her death on Monday, July 6, 2020. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (George) Misic and Beth (Timothy) Colbert. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joanne Rocco and nieces and nephews. Nancy was married to Allen James Jim Myers for 60 years before his passing in 2015. In addition to Jim, she is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Freda (Dietrich) Keck, and Viola Myers and Dorothy Baker. Nancy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree is Early Childhood Education. She taught Kindergarten in the Fox Chapel school district for over thirty years and as a certified master teacher, mentored over thirty student teachers from various universities. Nancy was also a talented violinist and performed with several Pittsburgh orchestras. Nancy enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. We celebrate her life and will miss her dearly. She was a loving mother, outstanding educator and caring friend. Nancy's family will welcome friends from 11:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park.
