BENT ROBERT WILLIAM Age 78, of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, died on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Outer Banks Hospital. Mr. Bent was born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a retired auto mechanic and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by a son, Bob Bent and wife, Jac.E; two sisters, Carol Boney and Linda Viola; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Stewart Bent; his wife, Dorothy Parks Bent; a sister, Jean Rhine; and a brother, Richard Bent. Friends received Friday, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. in SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD. / ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Park.
