LISCIO MICHAEL “MIKE” DIED ON ...

LISCIO MICHAEL “MIKE” Died on April 9, 2014, eldest son of Leonard and Irene (Dell'Aquila) Liscio. He was born on May 8, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John, Leonard and Rocco Liscio; and sister, Concetta Mancini; he is survived by brothers, Paul and Tony Liscio; and sisters-in-law, Lucy (Mrs. Rocco) and Annette (Mrs. Tony) Liscio; along with numerous nieces and nephews. During WWII, he drove a half-track with anti-aircaft guns attached to the half-track. Mike fought in battles in North France, Rhineland, Ardennes, Bastonne, Belgium, France, and Central Europe, 465th Anti-Aircraft Battalion Third Army. He was known as “Black Mike.” Before he retired, Mike worked as a plumber for Kelly Realty. The family would like to say a special thank you to his neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Busch and Mark Deluca.
