VANZIN BETTE A. Age 62, of Washington, passed away at home on Saturday, March 22, 2014, with her family by her side. Born September 19, 1951, in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of George and Rosie (Duncan) Harris. Beloved wife of 43 years to Thomas J. Vanzin; cherished mother of Stephanie Thornton and Jessica (Joseph) DiFiore; dear grandmother to Miranda (Joseph) Brantner, Devon Thornton, Madilynn, and Anthony DiFiore; loved great-grandmother of Issac Brantner; sister of Larry (Mary) Harris, Robert Harris, and Carol Bigley. She was preceded in death by her father, George Harris; and sister-in-law, Georgeann Harris. Bette loved to sew and work on crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
