BERGSTROM HENRY "CHIP" ARVIDSON, III Age 40, of Pittsburgh (Fox Chapel), passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 24, 1978, he was the son of Henry (Hank) Arvidson Bergstrom Jr. and Virginia (Ginny) Harrer Bergstrom. Chip was a 1996 graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School and attended the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Chip was an avid Pittsburgh Penguin hockey and Michigan Wolverine football fan. He enjoyed suntanning in Maui and golf. Known by many for cruising in his red Mustang convertible, "The Stang", with the top down and friends in tow, he always made sure to include others and provide for anyone in need. His wit, generosity and kindness leave behind a deep void in those who loved him most. A bright soul with a contagious smile, Chip was deeply loved by not only his family, but scores of life-long friends from high school and college including his Theta Chi fraternity brothers. He is survived by his parents, Ginny and Hank; his sister, Ashley, and her husband, David Guard and their daughter, Logan Louise Guard of Washington, D.C. A visitation will be held at WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. He will be interred at a private ceremony at Homewood Cemetery.
