ROGG ETHEL M. (BOBBY) Age 93, of New Sewickley Twp., on Monday, June 18, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Flesher) Bobby, born in Windber, PA on Dec. 8, 1924. She graduated from Windber High School at age 16. Survived by her husband Richard of 62 years; sons Kenneth (Laurie) of Cranberry Twp., Ronald (Janice) of Winter Park, FL, and Russell (Kimberly) of Wilton, CT; grandchildren, Katie (Adam), Rebecca, Evan, Connor, Ashtyn, Sommer, and Cooper; great-granddaughter Maggie. Ethel was employed by American Bridge Company at its Shipyard Works during the production of the LST's, which were used in the war effort. She was the last woman employed there as the facility ceased operations. She retired as an executive secretary with Rockwell Manufacturing. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, with Rev. John Gallagher celebrating the Mass. Interment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery.
