MESKO GEORGE Age 89, of Brookline, formerly of Oakland, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018, with his two daughters by his side. Beloved husband of the late Helen Chick (Miele) Mesko; loving father of Gina (Bruce) Barron and Valerie Mesko; devoted grandfather of Hollie Stangel (Tony Spano), Staci Stangel, and Lindsey (Pete) Glavach; proud great-grandfather of Dylan, Erica and Ryan Fitzerald, Owen George Glavach, Emma, and Ava Glavach; caring brother of Bill Mesko, Carletta (Tom) McPherson, and Mary Ann Morin; brother-in-law of Gloria Bonnar, Joan Dentel, Carol (Don) Regan, Lorraine (Joe) Shield, Eleanor Miele (Linda Zazvrskey), and Josie (Bob) Soltis; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. George served in US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Part of his daily routine, George enjoyed doing the crossword puzzles in the newspaper. He will be remembered for his passion to garden, always putting others before himself, and most of all love and devotion to his family. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS.
