PETERS ADESTA “DOLLY” Of Coraopolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her home. She was born in Hazelwood, PA on June 23, 1927 to the late Joseph P. and Marie E. (O'Biecunas) Peters. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rita D. Peters and Marie “Sis” Corcoran; beloved aunt of Rita Daley, Frank J. Corcoran (Linda) and Gregory Corcoran (Lynn); great-aunt of seven and great-great-aunt of nine. Dolly's hobbies included knitting, crocheting afghans and tassel hats for Bethany House and bowling (over 50 years). She was a member of St. Joseph Church, National Slovak Society and Moon Twp. AARP. She had worked for Homestead Industries as switchboard operator, receptionist and clerk. Visitation Sunday 2-4, 7-9 at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave., where prayers will be recited on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass at St. Joseph Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
