KOVALSKI VERA DOREEN (TUCKER) Age 91, passed away on September 6, 2017, in Berlin, PA. Born in Birmingham, England to Annie and Fred Tucker on March 7, 1926, she met her husband John Kovalski during WWII and immigrated to the US along with thousands of other war brides. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Wattai, of Palmyra, PA, Carol Kovalski, of Elk Grove Village, IL, and Christine Romesburg, of Rockwood, PA. She was the loving grandmother to Adam Betts, of Pittsburgh and Ben Romesburg, of Rockwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis; and son, John Frederick Kovalski. Vera's family was her life. There was always time for a cup of tea and a chat around the dining room table. She collected antique dolls and toys. Gardening was another favorite pastime, especially perennials. Interment will be private.
