SEKEL JOHN C. Age 88, of Bridgeville, on August 27, 2017. Loving father of Colleen (Scott) Williamson, Nancy (Morgan) Frazier, Donna (Jim) Thornburg and the late John (Sharon) Sekel, Jr.; beloved grandfather of Jason Oskamp, Heidi Perkins and Joshua Thornburg; brother of Betty Naples and the late William and James Sekel, Mary Ann Rotella and Arlean Gerlach; former husband of Bertha Sekel. He will be sadly missed by his faithful companions, Mattie, Amy and Cindy. A veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. John was a bricklayer and stone mason and later worked for Chartiers - Valley School District as a bus driver and maintenance man. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the mountains around his camp in Tidioute, PA. A lifetime member of V.F.W. #8803, Tidioute, American Legion Post #0658, Youngsville and S.N.P.J. #106, Imperial.
