BINDI JOAN C. JO Of Coraopolis, formerly Monongahela, went home to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, preceded in death by her parents, Victor, Sr. and Katherine (Hatlapatka) Bindi; and late fiancé, John Cash Majewski. Beloved sister of Victor (the late Germaine) Bindi, Jr., Rosemary (late Alan) Sanderson, and Kathryn (Philip) Disclafani; aunt of PJ (Carrie), Anthony (Lori), Tim (Julie) Disclafani, and CDR Victor (Paige) Bindi IV; great-aunt of Tanner, Parker, Wyatt, Cooper and Ruby Disclafani, Victoria, and Nikolas Bindi; she will be sadly missed by her shopping buddy, Danielle Price; and her companion, Joseph Glasgow; and loving friends. Joan's passion was always sewing and needlework, becoming accomplished at both knitting and quilting. She loved to travel, having treasured memories of Europe with friends. Joan was a former employee of Westinghouse Astronuclear Lab for over ten years, and a longtime former employee of Triangle News, Neville Island. As per Joan's wishes there will be no viewing. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Crescent, PA.
