MALACK EDWARD J. POCO Age 55, of Irwin, formerly of McKeesport, died Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born March 4, 1962, in Braddock and was the son of Patricia A. Kain Malack of White Oak, and the late Edward R. Malack who died January 26, 2015. Poco worked for Walmart in North Versailles and had previously worked for the Marriott Corporation in Maryland and Tramp's in Pittsburgh. He was a 1980 graduate of Serra Catholic High School and attended Mount Union College where he played football. He was also a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County. Poco was an avid runner and participated in many Triathlons. He enjoyed family, friends, music and playing pool. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Andrea J. DiBernardo Malack; sister, Andrea (John) Bendel of Mt. Lebanon; nephews, Christopher and Dane Bendel; a niece, Teresa Bendel; and his Godmother, Elly Kuszajewski. Friends are welcome Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, White Oak, with The Rev. Kevin J. Dominik, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 1640 Fawcett Avenue, White Oak, PA 15131.
