VRANESEVICH STOYANKA Age 90, of McKeesport, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Very Rev. Dr. Milan G. and Zoritza Popovich. She was born in Crepaya, Yugoslavia on October 16, 1926, and was preceded in death by her husband, Milan; and brothers, Dushan and Stoyan Popovich. She was a loving mother to her children, Xenia and Milan, of McKeesport, Zora Russell, of Serento, Florida; grandson, George Russell; and great-grandson, Dalton; brothers, retired Superior Court Judge Zoran Popovich, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ray (Shirley) Popovich, of Greentree, PA; along with nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at STRIFFLER'S OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) with Mali Pomen Services at 7:30 p.m. Burial services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Stavrofor Stevan G. Rocknage officiating. Entombment will follow in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery Mausoleum.
