NOVAK EMMA M. (HASAK) Age 91, of Munhall, on January 10, 2014. Beloved wife of 54 years of the late George A. Novak; daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Kish) Hasak; loving mother of Emma Jean (Frank) DeMarco of McKeesport, George (Brooke) Novak of Pittsburgh and David (Shawnie) Novak of Franklin; sister of the late Joseph Hasak, Margaret Leskanic, Ethel Bouton, and Stephen Hasak; grandmother of Nicole, Tyler, Austin, Melissa, Jason, Preston and Devin; step-grandmother of Rafael, Victor, Erik, Vincent, Anthony and David; great-grandmother of Aidan, Ava, Max, Owen and Lauren; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Emma was a 1940 graduate of Munhall High School and a former employee of Westinghouse and Heinz Aircraft Co. during WWII. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and going to her cottage at Sugar Lake. She was also an avid bingo player and liked to go to the casino.
