TOKAR JEAN LAVONNE (ISNER) Age 86, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on May 19, 2016, at her daughter's home, of natural causes, surrounded by loving friends and family. A former resident of Monroeville, PA, Jean had resided in Scottsdale, AZ for the past two years. She was born May 21, 1929, in Rankin, PA, the daughter of the late Ruth (Marks) and Edward Spitzkopf and Charles (Bill) Isner. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph E. Tokar and her cherished son, Joseph Toksar. She is survived by daughter, Joyce Tokar and David Jones of Scottsdale, AZ and daughter-in-law, Ann Marie (Garrity) Tokar of Greensburg, PA; daughter Joan Tammariello; grandchildren, Cammielle and Guy Becker, Laurel Tokar, Devon and Caleb Snyder; great-grandchildren, Blaise Becker, Alex and Alison Snyder; brother, Willis and Jan Isner; caregiver and friend, Marie Cronin; also cousins, close family members, friends and pets. Jean was a retired employee of IT Corporation. She was a former Queen of the Red Hat Society in Monroeville, a former member of the Mid Century Club and the Swinging Singles in Monroeville. Prior to her illness, Jean was a very active member of the women's society at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Braddock, PA. Friends and relatives may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., corner of Shaw and Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950), viewing Thursday morning 9-11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Forest Hills followed by a service. Interment will take place in Homewood Cemetery chapel.
