THOMAS HERBERT LARRY, Sr. Age 82, of Donora, PA, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, in AHN Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills, PA. Born January 15, 1934, in Homestead, PA, son of the late James J. and Bessie (Daniels) Thomas. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice Simmons Arnold Thomas; and daughters, Shelly L. Thomas and Christina Thomas-Moore. A retired Post Master at the Donora post office and member of New Life Christian Tabernacle in Donora where he served as a trustee, Sunday school teacher and praise leader and was a U. S. Army veteran. Surviving are his son, Herbert L. (Carla) Thomas, Jr. of North Plainfield, NJ; daughter, Florence Thomas of Upper Marlboro, MD; six grandchildren; four stepdaughters, Kathryn (Arthur) Thomas of Clairton, Pamela (Cornell) Sterling of Scott Twp., PA, Hope Arnold and Doreen C. Riley both of San Jose, CA; brother, Herman Thomas of Pittsburgh; and other relatives. Friends will be received Mon., April 25, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at New Vision Christian Tabernacle, 201 Thompson Ave., Donora with funeral services to be held Tues., April 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
