HOLLIS ANNA MAE (PHILLIPS) Age 82, of West Mifflin, formerly of Braddock, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Beloved wife of 58 years to Thomas L. Hollis; loving mother of Thomas A. (Jean) Hollis, Terri (Barry) Zungre, Tina Hollis, and Tim Hollis; grandmother of Jonathan (Samantha) Zungre, Stephanie (David) Stradling, Andrew, Tiffany, and Ashley Hollis; and aunt of Carol Barnes. She was preceded in death by her siblings, George, William, Mary, and Rudolph. Anna Mae was a 1949 graduate of Braddock High School and attended Walnut Grove Assembly of God. We loved her spunkiness combined with her sense of humor. Her grandchildren called her "the champion of grandmothers." Her tireless faith touched friends and family. She enjoyed Lawrence Welk music, Christian television, going to garage sales, and was excellent at painting. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills.
