GROOMS RICHARD C. Age 83, of Murrysville, PA, while surrounded by his loving family, went home to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Cherished husband of Gertrude (Dolly) Grooms; loving stepfather of Karl Keil (deceased), Mark Keil (Lydia), Douglas Keil, Timothy Keil (Wanda), William Keil III, Tamara Mazurkiewicz (Joseph); loving Pa-Pa to 13 grandchildren; also survived by nieces. Predeceased by his parents, Minor and Ruby Grooms; sister, Ruth Rubright; and brother, Ray Grooms. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post 711 and a member of Local 2 Frostworkers and Insulators union for 47 years. With his quick wit and engaging smile, Richard was a shining light to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was the greatest blessing in our lives. Special appreciation to the staff of U.P.M.C. Shadyside CT/Med ICU for their compassionate kindness with Richard's care.
